TISS at CIO Year Ahead '10: Forging IT/Business Strategies for 2010

CIO Year Ahead’ 10 was held on 3rd March 2010 at Sheraton Karachi where 33 business technology leaders participated in the roundtable discussion to talk about the challenges and strategies for 2010. The event was an endeavor to obtain a business strategy in compliance with technology in an attempt to solve the mystery whether technology integration actually fetches the business or not. The event was comprised of four round table sessions. The main discussion was moderated by Country Manager Cisco Dr. Amir Matin and Chairman Standing committee for IT Ms. Shahida Saleem followed by 3 simultaneous session with discussions focused in the areas of hardware/System integration, IT security and Managed Services. The third session on Information security was led by Mr. Mahir Mohsin Sheikh, CEO Trillium Information Security Systems, where hot issues like risk, governance and compliance were brought under discussion to develop suggested roadmaps.
