Apollo 13- An ITSM Case Experience Workshop- First Time in Pakistan

Trillium Information Security System in collaboration with Pink Elephant held Apollo 13-An ITSM Case Experience Workshop here in Islamabad on 14-17 of December 2009. These trainings were held for the first time in Pakistan. Ms. Jennifer Wels, Senior Consultant Pink Elephant trained over 45 people in three different sessions. Jennifer is a 12 year veteran and expert of ITIL with an immense knowledge and experience of implementing Change Management in Organizations. Additionally, Jennifer also possess extremely valuable insight into how an organization can effectively use COBIT and ITIL as part of an overall service improvement initiative. Professionals from industry leading organizations such as Ufone, Telenor, Fauji Foundation, Askari Bank and Pakistan Army attended these trainings and learned how to place different pieces of ITIL jigsaw puzzle together. Participants acknowledged that these trainings have added to their knowledge of IT Service Management and gave them hands on experience on how to manage their IT Services.

The Apollo 13 - an ITSM case experience™ simulation game is an intense, one-day training in which ITSM concepts and processes are experienced through the use of an interactive game. In this training, real life situations taken from the Apollo 13 mission are simulated. Attends work in teams, playing the roles of the mission operations ground crew in Houston. The mission is to bring the crippled spacecraft and its crew safely home. By doing attendees learn and experience all the benefits of ITSM best practice solutions. |
